Raising Awareness and Reducing Carbon Emissions in Bali

PT Pertamina MOR V, in collaboration with the DESMA Center, is supporting efforts to raise awareness among the public and tourism industry stakeholders through a series of strategic measures. One such measure is to provide educational value by empowering tourism business operators through associations that encompass various sectors as key drivers.

A strong commitment is needed from tourism business operators to learn more about carbon emission reduction and to spread this knowledge to a wider network. Through these awareness-raising activities, it is hoped that the challenges faced by tourism operators in Bali—namely, maintaining a sustainable environment during the pandemic as Bali’s tourism sector reopens—will be addressed.
