Rapat Perumusan Rekomendasi Pokja Analisis dan Evaluasi Hukum Peraturan Daerah Provinsi DKI Jakarta Nomor 6 Tahun 2015 tentang Kepariwisataan

DESMA Center as a member of the Working Group on Legal Analysis and Evaluation related to DKI Jakarta Province Regional Regulation Number 6 Year 2015 on Tourism attended the meeting “Formulation of Recommendations of the Working Group on Legal Analysis and Evaluation of DKI Jakarta Province Regional Regulation Number 6 Year 2015 on Tourism” on October 18, 2022. This meeting was held at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (KEMENKUMHAM) of DKI Jakarta Province. The meeting was opened and chaired by Legal Affairs Representative Mr. Lanang Dwi Kurniawan; and attended by other Pokja members namely BRIN Principal Researcher, Legal Bureau, Tourism and Creative Economy Office Prov. DKI Jakarta, DESMA Center, JFT and JFU.
This meeting presented Mr. Muhammad Shobirin, an Expert at the DKI Jakarta Provincial Tourism and Creative Economy Office as a resource person. In his presentation, he explained the urgency of preparing the Tourism RAPPERDA based on the results of the analysis and evaluation, the draft RAPPERDA prepared and said that the RAPPERDA had considered COVID-19 by including tourism crisis management.

DESMA Center provides input related to the existing RAPPERDA, in order to consider the condition of tourism business taxes such as spa or PBTJ tax in Law No. 1 of 2022 which is considered high by business actors so that it is expected to be responded to in the RAPPERDA in the intensive section so that the tourism business climate remains conducive; as well as several tourism business activities that will be developed such as sports tourism or wellness tourism, are expected to be clearly or explicitly included in the draft RAPPERDA so that actors realize that their business activities are recognized as one of the tourism activities in DKI Jakarta.
The activity was then continued with the presentation of the legal analyst of the DKI Jakarta Regional Office of KEMENKUMHAM regarding the results of the analysis and evaluation of the 6 dimensions of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Regional Regulation Number 6 of 2015 concerning Tourism which had been summarized from a series of meetings and discussions that had been held by presenting various speakers. These results will then be followed up by the Chairperson of the Working Group to be able to provide recommendations in the form of statements to be revoked, amended, fixed and other actions in the context of the effective implementation of this Regional Regulation.
