DESMA Center Attends the Jury Process for the Green Events and Key Figure in the Event Industry Categories of the Wonderful Indonesia Awards 2025, Ministry of Tourism

The Wonderful Indonesia Awards (WIA) 2025 is an awards program organized by the Ministry of Tourism (Kemenpar) to recognize and appreciate the dedication of tourism stakeholders. The awards feature several categories, including Green Events and Key Figure in the Event Industry.
The Green Events category honors tourism events that apply sustainability principles, while the Key Figure in the Event Industry category recognizes individuals in the tourism event industry for their achievements and innovations. The jury process for both categories was conducted on 20–21 November 2025 in Sentul, West Java. The meeting was attended by representatives from the Deputy for the Development of Event Organizers, including the Assistant Deputy for Event Strategy, members of the jury panel, and DESMA Center as a partner of Kemenpar.

During the jury process, the panel provided input, reviews, and assessments of the shortlisted nominees for both categories. The meeting then continued with the presentation of the jury’s total scores. The final results will be announced at the WIA 2025 award ceremony, scheduled for 5 December 2025.
The implementation of WIA 2025 is expected to encourage and motivate tourism industry stakeholders to continue innovating in order to realize an Indonesian tourism ecosystem that is sustainable, high-quality, and globally competitive.
