Formulation of the SKKNI Draft, KKNI Draft, and Occupational Scheme Draft in the field of Tourism Destination Planning and Development
The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) formed a team to formulate the SKKNI Draft, KKNI Draft, and Occupational Scheme Draft in the field of Tourism Destination Planning and Development consisting of related sector business actors, associations, professional certification institutions, job training institutions and universities. DESMA Center is part of the drafting team.
This activity was carried out in the context of cooperation between the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and the World Bank to implement the Integrated and Sustainable Tourism Development Program (P3TB) orIndonesia Tourism Development Project (ITDP) which uses Foreign Grant Loan Funds (PHLN) from the relevant World BankCompetency Based Standard.
A program that aims to accelerate recovery and increase productivity in the tourism sector and creative economy throughupskilling (increased competency),reskilling (strengthening competence), andnew skilling (the addition of new competencies) is expected to be able to create job opportunities and business opportunities for competent and sustainable Tourism and Creative Economy human resources (HR Parekraf).
A series of formulation activities have been taking place continuously starting from the Kick Off of the drafting team on 26 July 2023 until the eleventh (11th) meeting of the drafting team on 4 September 2023. This formulation meeting will continue until the finalization of the document this year.
Apart from the formulation activities carried out comprehensively by the formulation team, a series of strengthening activities have also been carried out. Starting with Technical Guidance which will be held on 8-10 August 2023 in Jakarta; Focus group discussion (FGD) inviting relevant stakeholders on 14-16 August 2023 in Jakarta.
Apart from that, the results of the formulation team's formulation were also presented at the Pick Test Workshop in three cities, namely the Pick Test Workshop in Medan on 23-25 August 2023, the Pick Test Workshop in Yogyakarta on 29-31 August 2023 and the Pick Test Workshop in Lombok 6-8 September 2023. The Pick Test Workshop in the three cities invites actors and stakeholders to get input and suggestions regarding the results of the formulation of the SKKNI Draft, KKNI Draft, and Occupational Scheme Draft in the field of Tourism Destination Planning and Development which were prepared by the drafting team.
The results of various FGD activities and Pick Test Workshops will then be elaborated on by the drafting team before internal verification is carried out.
